Eligibility:

Must be an Undergraduate or Graduate student. You must have applied on our website before November 1st. Only those who were accepted and confirmed their acceptances will be allowed to participate. You will be rejected at the door if you did not apply.

Project and Submission Requirements

  1. A 2-minute demo/showcase of your project
  2. Live presentation to various judges

Prizes:

  • 3 Primary Tracks: One $100 Amazon gift card per person in each winning team
  • Rogue Track: One pair of earbuds will be awarded to each member of the winning team

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

One team will be chosen from each category as a winner.

Code of Conduct

Hackers are expected to follow the MLH Code of Conduct. Any violation of these rules will result in disqualification.

Our hackathon is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment and a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of the following:
  • gender
  • gender identity and expression
  • age
  • sexual orientation
  • disability
  • physical appearance
  • body size
  • race
  • ethnicity
  • nationality
  • religion
  • political views
  • previous hackathon attendance or lack of
  • computing experience or lack of
  • chosen programming language or tech stack
We do not tolerate harassment of hackathon participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at any hackathon venue, which includes the following.
  • hacks
  • talks, presentations, or demos
  • workshops
  • any parties associated to the hackathon
  • social media
  • any other online media
Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon without a refund (if applicable) at the discretion of the hackathon organisers. If anyone is found to break these rules, or if you see anyone breaking these rules, please talk to event staff, message on Discord, or email contactemoryhacks@gmail.com to notify us.
